Sweet coconut dosa,Sweet semicircle Dosa

I thought of making a sweet version of the ordinary Dosa.
Recipe
Dosa batter
Sugar- i cup
 Grated Coconut-2cups
Grated Carrot-1 cup
Honey-2 tablespoon

Pour Dosa batter on the tawa, flip it once cooked on one side
Mix sugar, coconut, honey and carrot.

Put 2 tablespoons in one Dosa , fold the Dosa, like a semicircle.
Pour little sesame oil or ghee.
Sweet semicircle Dosa is ready.

Where are the house sparrows?

Many a mornings i remember sighting group  of  busily chirping house sparrows, swiftly flying with their short wings. sometimes i have kept water for them in mud pots and even kept grains.It was a common sight, they were always there in and around our house, like uninvited guests, flying from the balcony into the rooms and then out again.Lately iam reminded from reading an article about their diminishing population, yes for sure ian mot able to see them nowadays.They have indeed become a rarity.The question that came into my mind was "why what has happened to these sparrows?" "where have they dissappeared?". Thats when i thought of writing a post on these , and remind my kids aout the sparrows on the international day being celebrated for their protection on march 20th.

The prayer above 11 year old israeli Yoav Fogel’s bed,brutally murdered by a Palestinian terrorist

Five members of the Fogel family  were brutally murdered by a Palestinian terrorist in the Samarian settlement of Itamar, southeast of Nablus ,on late Friday night of 11th  March 2011. The terrorist stabbed to death Udi (36) and Ruth (35) Fogel, and their children Yoav, 11, Elad, 4, and 3-month-old Hadas.

Even the three month old infant asleep in peace, was not spared by the terrorist, what a cold blooded heart he had.!!!!!!!!!!!.

The poem beneath echoes my prayers to God , my heart is often wearied by indifference, weighed down by burdens and worries,holds   hurts, soured by ingratitude and pained by unkind remarks, but i would like it to be one which is transparent as a fresh spring.

a basic level of comfort

My Spirit felt overwhelmed to watch  Japan shattered, i feel despondent reading cases of Children at risk, abused,

at the same time feel grateful for whatsoever security  and a basic level of comfort that i enjoy in this developing part of the world with vast magnitude of disparity between the rich and poor.

I feel despondent to look at the lives of millionaires and billionaires , evading taxes ,who on their part can contribute so much to uplift the downtrodden.

But , i know out of extravagant lifestyle ,spills-forth very little charity.

But on my part i will continue to reshape small islands of poverty , illiteracy, and malnourishment thro the limited means available to me.

Earth hour celebrated every day in most parts of India

For many of us in southern part of, Earth hour is celebrated every day, not for an hour but for minimum of three hours each day, as thanks to our state's electricity board, we have power cuts for three hours per day.
I live near SEZ that is state economic zone , with lot of factories and industries around, small scale , at whose cost we suffer the grunt of power cuts.My part of world is hottest from march to june, sweltering heat, and no power.Great combination.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
