Tarde te amé- San Agustín

Tarde te amé-
  San Agustín

Tarde te amé
O la belleza cada antigua y tan nueva!
Tarde te amé
Y he aquí,
Tú estabas dentro y yo fuera,
y sin que usted busca.
Y deforme que corrió detrás de estas formas
de la belleza que ha hecho.

Tú estabas conmigo
Y yo no estaba contigo.
Esas cosas me detuvo de ti,
cosas que sólo se
iba a ser en ti.

Usted llama, usted gritó;
y rompiste mi sordera.
Que brilló, usted brilló;
y ahuyentaron a mi ceguera.
Que se convirtió en fragante;
y aspiré y suspiré por ti.

probé
y ahora tienen hambre y sed
para usted.

Usted me ha tocado;
y quemado por su abrazo.

~ San agustín

Evergreen Dev Anand

One of my favourite actors is Dev Anand, i just adore him for his looks, hair, his style, above all his charm.

I read from an interview given by Waheeda Rehman that he was also a wonderful human being.He helped ease of the tension between her and director Raj Khosla at the making of the film C.I.D.He kept his promise of giving her a leading role in his movie, by offering her the lead role in the cult film GUIDE. He also kept his promise to the then budding assistant director Guru Dutt, his production house's debut film.Dev Anand became good friends with Guru Dutt at the sets of his first movie .His production house Navkrtan produced many hit films.His movies had flamboyant music and lyrics.He will remain an evergreen star in the minds of people.One of his life motto was to go ahead in life and forget the past as he sings in his famous movie HUM DONO--Mein Zindagi Ka Sath Nibatha Chala Gaya.
His quote-"
Dreams should never die. When the dreams are dead, you are dead. After fulfilling every dream, I realize there is a new dream that dawns. I used to dream about the Hollywood people...my inspiration is Hollywood in 1950s."

..............searching the lives of saints and sisters

There are times in life, when i feel like searching the lives of saints and sisters, reading their views, their struggles, joys and how they approached God when faced with turmoil, doubt or how conscious they were to sufferings of humanity and the efforts they made to lessen or alleviate them but some times the lives of ordinary people living ordinary lives, with its struggles and joys  pull me.I am impressed by people who think about others, as to what they say, do and think can have effect on others but they are few , in  the ocean of million others who are so occupied with their own lives that they scarcely realize how their ignorance and empathy to others takes away the smile from others lives.
Throwing garbage on the open, not helping an elderly , a cold look, a hurtful remark  can snatch a moments joy from  someone else life.
It needs effort and a conscious attempt, to be aware of others around.It also depends on ones upbringing.Just as looking good and losing weight requires effort, a sympathetic attitude needs cultivation, more acquired by watching the peers around.
Live a life of fragrance and spread fragrance around to others too whenever possible
Do to others as you would want others to unto you.

In the hands of God-Teresa of Avila

I am Yours and born of You,
What do You want of me?

Majestic Sovereign,
Unending wisdom,
Kindness pleasing to my soul;
God sublime, one Being Good,
Behold this one so vile.
Singing of her love to you:
What do You want of me?

Yours, you made me,
Yours, you saved me,
Yours, you endured me,
Yours, you called me,
Yours, you awaited me,
Yours, I did not stray.
What do You want of me?

Good Lord, what do you want of me,
What is this wretch to do?
What work is this,
This sinful slave, to do?
Look at me, Sweet Love,
Sweet Love, look at me,
What do You want of me?

In Your hand
I place my heart,
Body, life and soul,
Deep feelings and affections mine,
Spouse -- Redeemer sweet,
Myself offered now to you,
What do You want of me?

Give me death, give me life,
Health or sickness,
Honor or shame,
War or swelling peace,
Weakness or full strength,
Yes, to these I say,
What do You want of me?

Give me wealth or want,
Delight or distress,
Happiness or gloominess,
Heaven or hell,
Sweet life, sun unveiled,
To you I give all.
What do You want of me?

Give me, if You will, prayer;
Or let me know dryness,
And abundance of devotion,
Or if not, then barrenness.
In you alone, Sovereign Majesty,
I find my peace,
What do You want of me?

Give me then wisdom.
Or for love, ignorance,
Years of abundance,
Or hunger and famine.
Darkness or sunlight,
Move me here or there:
What do You want of me?

If You want me to rest,
I desire it for love;
If to labor,
I will die working:
Sweet Love say
Where, how and when.
What do You want of me?

Calvary or Tabor give me,
Desert or fruitful land;
As Job in suffering
Or John at Your breast;
Barren or fruited vine,
Whatever be Your will:
What do You want of me?

Be I Joseph chained
Or as Egypt's governor,
David pained
Or exalted high,
Jonas drowned,
Or Jonas freed:
What do You want of me?

Silent or speaking,
Fruitbearing or barren,
My wounds shown by the Law,
Rejoicing in the tender Gospel;
Sorrowing or exulting,
You alone live in me:
What do You want of me?

Yours I am, for You I was born:
What do You want of me?

Santa Teresa de Ávila-Vamos a problemas nada de lo que

Vamos a problemas nada de lo que

Que nada te problemas.

No dejes que nada te asuste.

Todo es efímero.

Sólo Dios es inmutable.

paciencia

Todo lo que obtiene.

¿Quién posee a Dios

Nada quiere.

Sólo Dios basta.
