Hay Festival 2011: King James Bible reading

To mark the 400th anniversary of King James Bible , the 96 hour long bible reading , began at the Hay festival.
With many"begats", and details of births and deaths, and detailed instruction by God as to how to build the ark, the begining was much received by the audience.

The opening was done by Rev Nicholas Lowton, at the festival site with the famous words, “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.”

the reading was done in a tent whipped by wind and stirred by storms reminiscent of Noah’s tempest
