when times are hard
when my eyes are restless
when my heart has lost hope
i open the bible
and read its words
like water to a parched soul
strength flows in
in between i struggle with my Lord
i fight and rebel with him
"why , this trouble Lord"
"why now , when all was going well, after a long time of struggle"
but , HE in His reassuring voice
comforts me
and says "do not fret, be quiet, i will fight for you,
trust me and walk on the waters,
but fix your gaze on me and not on the waters"
ihumbly bow down, calm returns,
i go back to the world
with the WORD in my heart.
